FAQ ABOUT MY SERVICES!

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I book Keravive or a normal Scalp Bath?

I always recommend Keravive, and my reason for that is you will see REAL RESULTS! Keravive is essentially a Hydrafacial on the Scalp. Keravive can help:

  • balding
  • thinning
  • hair loss
  • dryness
  • excess oil
  • psoriasis
  • flakiness
  • and more!

This treatment is going to promote hair growth & nourish the scalp promoting a healthier microbiome.

However, if you are looking for more of a relaxing treatment to unwind the Scalp Bath's are a great option!

How many Keravive Treatments do I need to see results?

At least 3 treatments once a month is recommended, and following up with the take home spray nightly.

Can I get a scalp bath with extensions?

You can absolutely get a scalp bath with extensions, however it is preferred to take them out before so we can give you the best experience possible.

Do you offer Blow Drying in your treatments?

This is something that is being added FALL 2025. Until then, we have a complimentary blow dry station!

Which Hydrafacial option should I book?

I recommend booking the deluxe or platinum, when you book a deluxe we can add a booster and LED light therapy and this is what targets specific skincare concerns. The Platinum adds that + Lymphatic Drainage to drain the toxins in your face.

What does a Brazilian Wax service look like in your studio?

When you arrive to your appointment, I will greet you and hand you a single use intimate wipe, we recommend using this to freshen up front to back. After that, you will lay on the treatment table as directed and cover yourself with the sheet. I will come back in, glove up, and begin the wax. I start out by cleansing and prepping the skin, and work from the outer - in. I will ask you to put your heels together and butterfly with relaxing your hips. After we wax the front, we will move on to in between the cheeks! For this strip, I will ask you to lay on your side and go into fetal position. You may be asked to lay on your back and pull your knees to your chest as well. Between each strip I apply a cold compress to help with the pain!

How to prepare for a Brazilian Wax?

Preparing for a Brazilian wax can help ensure a smoother experience. Here are some tips:

  1. Grow Out Hair: Let your hair grow to about 1/4 inch long (about the size of a grain of rice) so the wax can effectively grab it.
  2. Exfoliate: A day or two before your appointment, gently exfoliate the area to remove dead skin cells. This can help reduce ingrown hairs.
  3. Moisturize: Keep the skin moisturized in the days leading up to your wax, but avoid applying lotion on the day of the appointment.
  4. Avoid Sun Exposure: Stay out of the sun and avoid tanning beds for at least 48 hours before your appointment to minimize skin sensitivity.
  5. Pain Management: If you’re concerned about pain, consider taking an over-the-counter pain reliever about 30 minutes before your appointment.
  6. Wear Comfortable Clothing: Opt for loose-fitting clothing to prevent irritation after the wax.
  7. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water leading up to your appointment, as hydration can help your skin be more resilient.
  8. Communicate with Your Aesthetician: Discuss any concerns or sensitivities you have before the waxing begins.

By following these tips, you can help ensure a more comfortable waxing experience!

Does a Brazilian Wax Hurt?

A Brazilian Wax may cause a little discomfort, but it's nothing like those exaggerated videos you see online! If you are worried, take a pain reliever 15 minutes before.
